Cherry lemonade

Cherry lemonade

Nothing beats the taste of home made lemonade. There is sweetness that you like. There are fruits and berries that you like. There is everything you want to have and you like. This cherry lemonade, so simple to make, is my favorite when it comes to lemonades in our family. Just a bit of lemon makes it fresher and perfect for summer parties.

Inspired by the Holly&Whyte cat in red glasses. He would love this lemonade.

Ingredients
400 g pitted sweet cherries
150 ml water
2 dried rose petal heads
1 organic lemon zest, grated
130 ml lemon juice
100 ml agave syrup or honey
1.5l sparkling water

Prepare

Make the syrup. Place cherries, roses, and water into the saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Turn of the heat and leave to cool. Put them into a blender, add sweetener, lemon zest, and juice and blend until smooth. Strain. Cool completely.

Fill a large pitcher or bottle with ice, fill 1/3 with syrup and add water. You can also add some lemon, berries, nectarine, or peppermint. Mix and serve.
