Because in food I trust. In all forms and shapes.

Apollo Bar

Apollo Bar

So similar, yet so different from its close relative Atelier September. Hidden in the backyards of the Contemporary art museum, this is a true oasis in the centre of the city.

Food choice is not very broad, but enough to make you really happy. Biodynamic and organic wine, oysters, vegetarian Caesar salad, sage nuts, olive or anchovy cream with sourdough bread; for dessert – skyr with carrots in syrup and muesli (a fantastic dish that everyone should try) and a couple of more things. The menu is tiny, and everything is cooked by two Michelin-starred chefs. This is a place where you can easily drop by for literally one snack and end up staying for several hours, several dishes, long conversations, a bottle (not a glass) of wine and amazing company of artists from the nearby academy and museum. Don't forget to visit their sister place Atelier September
